Ancient Art to Post-Impressionism Masterpieces from the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen

Begun in 1878 by a prominent Danish family, the collection now housed in Copenhagen's renowned Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek includes exceptional Greek, Roman, and Etruscan sculptures, works by Danish Golden Age artists and by French artists such as Rodin and Carpeaux, and notable canvases and ceramics by Paul Gauguin. Published to coincide with an exhibition of works from the Glyptotek, this important volume illustrates some 200 artworks.
