Something Borrowed, Something Learned?: The Transatlantic Market in Education and Training Reform

This work considers British education, tracing reform policy during the final years of the Thatcher government, that borrows from the United States. It provides a useful opportunity for general understanding of the education and training process and the role international comparisons can play in shaping the domestic education and training policy agenda.
