"When a raven flies at you, there will be murder." That's what Maggie's grandmother once told her, and the longer twelve-year-old maggie stays with her parents at the Biological Research Center - or Bug Camp, as she calls it - the more she is inclined to believe it. Soon after the raven's mysterious appearance, Maggie's exotic and beautiful new fire bugs begin to die. Is it global warming, acid rain, or murder? With the help of Mitch, a young computer whiz, Maggie follows every environmental clue in her pursuit of the culprit.
