The Women's Suffrage Movement New Feminist Perspectives

A collection of essays presenting recent feminist scholarship on the suffrage movement, illustrating its complexity and diversity. The text combines historical reappraisal with accounts of the culture of the women's suffrage movement and includes studies on the neglected groups that participated in the campaign.
